Data Deletion Instructions

At Edu Reminder Ltd., we fully respect user privacy and the "Right to be Forgotten" under GDPR and global privacy directives. You have full ownership and total control over deleting your personal data, notes, tasks, account linkages, and backup archives created in Noteezy - Notes, Task, Diary (Package ID: com.edureminder.notepad).

1. Overview of Data Ownership

Noteezy is engineered on a local-first architecture:

• All notes, tasks, checklists, and folder records reside locally on your mobile device in an isolated database sandbox.
• If you enable Google Drive sync, backup archives (EdureminderBackup) are saved directly into your personal Google Drive storage space.
• We do not host or retain your personal note contents on third-party external servers.

2. Step-by-Step Data Erasure Methods

You can perform data deletion through any of the following methods:

Option A: In-App Note & Task Deletion

1. Open Noteezy.
2. Select any note, task, or folder you wish to remove.
3. Tap Delete. The item moves to the Deleted / Recycle Bin section.
4. Open the Recycle Bin screen and tap Delete Permanently or Empty Trash to permanently erase the items.

Option B: Delete Account & Revoke Cloud Sync Linkages

If you signed in with your Google Account for cloud backups:

1. Open Noteezy.
2. Go to Settings.
3. Scroll down and select Delete Account.
4. Confirm the deletion prompt.

Result:

• The app immediately revokes Google Drive OAuth authentication tokens.
• The account session is logged out and account linkages are removed.
• No account credentials remain stored in the app.

Option C: Erase Google Drive Cloud Backups

To remove backup files stored in your personal Google Drive account:

1. Open Google Drive on your mobile device or web browser.
2. Sign in to the Google account you used for sync.
3. Locate the folder named EdureminderBackup.
4. Right-click or select the folder and click Delete / Move to Trash.
5. Empty your Google Drive Trash to permanently purge all cloud backup files.

Option D: Complete Device Storage Scrubbing

To wipe all local databases, preferences, local notes, and biometric lock settings from your Android device:

1. Open Android Settings on your smartphone.
2. Navigate to Apps > Noteezy (or Notepad).
3. Tap Storage & Cache.
4. Select Clear Data (or Clear Storage) and confirm.

Result:
All local SQLite database files, preferences, and cached assets are permanently erased from your physical hardware.

3. Data Retention Policy

Because Noteezy does not upload or retain your private notes on central company servers, executing local app clearing or Google Drive backup deletion results in the immediate, permanent, and 100% complete destruction of all your data. We retain zero residual backup blocks or logs.
