Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to the Terms and Conditions of Service for Money Manager: Expense Tracker (referred to as "we," "our," or "the App"), developed and published by Edu Reminder.

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must immediately uninstall and cease using the App.

1. Description of Service

Money Manager is a personal finance tool designed to log transactions, track budgets, visualize spending, and sync ledger data.

• Local Database Storage: The app runs locally on your device. By default, your entries, categories, and account structures are saved only in your device's memory.
• Google Drive Syncing: Cloud backup features require you to log in with your own Google Account. Backup files are stored directly in the user's own Google Drive account. Edu Reminder does not maintain copies of these backup files on its own servers.
• Push Notifications: The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) to deliver reminders and notifications. To enable this functionality, a device-specific FCM registration token and limited technical device information may be processed solely for notification delivery.

2. No Financial, Investment, or Legal Advice

Money Manager is purely an tracking and record-keeping tool.

• Information Only: Any calculations, analytics, graphs, or budget alerts generated by the App are for general informational purposes only.
• Professional Consultation: We do not provide certified financial planning, tax guidance, accounting advice, or investment recommendations. Do not make significant investment or business decisions solely based on data displayed inside the App. Consult a qualified professional for financial planning, tax preparation, or accounting needs.

3. Security and User Responsibility

Certain non-financial technical information (such as notification registration tokens and purchase validation information) may be processed to provide app functionality., you are solely responsible for securing your data.

• Device Protection: You should configure device-level authentication (such as fingerprint logins, passcodes, or patterns) to protect your financial ledger from unauthorized physical access.
• Accidental Data Loss: Uninstalling the App, clearing system caches, or formatting your device will permanently delete all local data. You are solely responsible for setting up automated Google Drive backups or manually exporting reports to secure your information.
• Google Drive Security: You are responsible for maintaining the privacy of your Google Account credentials used for syncing features. We are not liable for unauthorized access or security breaches of your Google Drive account.

4. Premium Subscriptions & Purchases

We offer premium upgrades via monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscriptions, as well as lifetime licenses.

• Payment Processing: Subscription purchases are processed through Google Play Billing using the RevenueCat SDK. RevenueCat may process purchase identifiers and subscription status to validate and manage premium access. Financial payment information is handled by Google Play and is not accessible to Edu Reminder.
• Automatic Renewal: Subscription plans renew automatically at the end of the billing period unless auto-renewal is turned off in your Google Play settings at least 24 hours before the current period ends.
• Cancellations: You can cancel or manage your subscriptions at any time:

  Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions → Money Manager → Cancel Subscription

• Refund Policy: Refunds are subject to the Google Play Store refund policies and must be requested through Google. Edu Reminder cannot process refunds directly.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, titles, and interests in the App — including source code, UI designs, graphics, icons, visual charts, layouts, branding, and text — are the exclusive property of Edu Reminder and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

• Restrictions: You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse-engineer, decompile, translate, or extract source code from the App without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

• "As-Is" Provision: The App is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
• No Warranty of Accuracy: We do not warrant that calculations, exchange rates, currency conversions, or budget alerts will be 100% accurate, error-free, or uninterrupted.
• Limitation of Liability: In no event shall Edu Reminder, its developers, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages (including loss of data, loss of profits, financial deficits, or device hardware damage) arising out of the use or inability to use the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Age Requirements

By using the App, you warrant that you are at least 13 years of age (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction). If you are under 13, you are not permitted to use the App or connect it to Google Drive synchronization. You must satisfy the minimum digital age requirements applicable in your country. Where required by law, users under the applicable age must obtain parental or guardian permission before using the App.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, without regard to conflict of law principles.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will post any updates directly to this page and update the "Last Modified" date. Your continued use of the App following the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
