Terms & Conditions of Service

Welcome to Vocabulary: Learn Words, an educational mobile application provided and operated by Edu Reminder Ltd. ("we", "us", or "our").

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your download, installation, access, and use of the Vocabulary: Learn Words application across Android devices.

1. License & Permitted Use

Edu Reminder Ltd. grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, limited license to download, install, and use Vocabulary: Learn Words on your compatible Android device strictly for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes.

Restrictions on Use:

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or extract source code, SQLite databases, audio assets, or compiled dictionary binary files (prep.bin) from the application.
• Rent, lease, lend, sell, redistribute, or sublicense the application or any part of its intellectual property.
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the application's unique layout, visual card assets, or dictionary datasets.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to extract vocabulary data from the app.

2. In-App Purchases & Pro Subscriptions

Vocabulary: Learn Words may offer optional premium features (such as "Pro Upgrade", "Lifetime Access", or recurring subscriptions) that provide benefits including complete ad removal, unlimited custom stacks, and advanced audio options.

Billing & Payment:

• All in-app purchases and subscription transactions are processed securely through Google Play Billing in accordance with Google Play's Terms of Service.
• Prices are displayed in your local currency before completing the transaction and include applicable local sales taxes.

Subscription Management & Cancellations:

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing cycle.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via your Google Play Store Account > Payments & Subscriptions.
• Refund requests are handled according to standard Google Play Refund Policies.

3. Intellectual Property Rights

All rights, title, and interest in and to Vocabulary: Learn Words—including software source code, flashcard UI algorithms, visual mnemonic card designs, curated lexicon definitions, sound effects, logos, trademarks, and documentation—are the exclusive property of Edu Reminder Ltd. and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

4. Educational Content Disclaimer

Vocabulary: Learn Words is developed as a supplementary educational and self-study tool. While we make every effort to maintain accurate translations, definitions, CEFR skill classifications, and pronunciations across all 17 supported languages:

• Content is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis.
• Edu Reminder Ltd. makes no warranties that the vocabulary content will guarantee specific scores on standardized language examinations (such as IELTS, TOEFL, GRE, or DELE).

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Edu Reminder Ltd. and its directors, employees, and licensors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Your access to, use of, or inability to access or use the application.
• Any loss of saved flashcards, custom stacks, or streak data resulting from device loss, OS resets, or local storage cleanup.
• Third-party software interruptions, Android OS compatibility changes, or hardware malfunctions.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the application or revoke your software license at our discretion without prior notice if you violate any provision of these Terms.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh and international commercial software statutes, without regard to conflict of law principles.

8. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Material modifications will be reflected with an updated date at the top of this document. Continued use of the application following any changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
